About me

Therapist in Amsterdam, kind, warm, inclusive, and no judgment. CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy) for intrusive thoughts, anxiety, depression, burnout, expat integration, challenges, French English

Hello, I’m Megan, a therapist based between Amsterdam and Paris, working with women in English and French, in-person and online.

I grew up between England and France, and have since lived in Sweden and the Netherlands. Moving between different cultures has shaped the way I understand identity, belonging, relationships and the ways our environment can influence how we think, feel and relate to ourselves. Growing up with a strong mum, two sisters and being an auntie to four girls has also meant that much of my life has been shaped by the experiences, relationships and conversations that come with being a woman - across different generations, cultures and stages of life.

These experiences have naturally influenced the way I work. I’m particularly interested in how our relationships, expectations and experiences shape our sense of ourselves, and in creating a space where you can explore these things openly and without judgement.

I hold a first class honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Counselling from the United Kingdom and am completing an MSc in Clinical Psychology. Alongside my academic training, I’ve specialised further in working with OCD and anxiety. I’ve completed certifications with the NOCD Academy in:

  • Understanding and Treating Harm-Themed OCD

  • Fundamentals of Exposure-Based Therapy for OCD and Anxiety Disorders

  • PTSD and Prolonged Exposure Therapy

My work integrates ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and mindful, body-based approaches. I believe therapy should be both supportive and active — giving you space to understand your experiences while also working towards meaningful change.

I offer therapy in person in a peaceful setting in central Amsterdam, as well as online, depending on your location and circumstances.

If you’re considering starting therapy, you’re very welcome to get in touch to see if working together feels like the right fit.
