Frequently Asked Questions: What to expect and more

Who do you work with?

I work with adults of all ages, genders and nationalities experiencing a range of emotional, psychological, and adjustment difficulties. Many of my clients are internationals living in the Netherlands and France, but anyone seeking support in English or French is welcome. I support people navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, OCD, stress, burnout, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, grief, and life transitions.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or are struggling with your mental health, therapy can provide a space to reflect, gain insight, and develop strategies for change. You don’t need to have all the answers, just a mild curiosity to explore your thoughts and feelings. Reaching out doesn’t commit you to ongoing therapy; it’s simply the first step toward support and healing.

How long does therapy usually take?

Therapy is different for everyone. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others benefit from ongoing support over several months. We can discuss your goals and decide together what frequency and duration work best for you.

How long are sessions, and how often do they take place?

Currently, I offer in-person and online sessions. Depending on demand, there may be a waiting list, but it is always worth reaching out to check availability. Each sessions lasts 60 minutes, and the frequency and duration are tailored to your specific needs.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes — I provide online sessions, making therapy accessible even if in-person sessions aren’t possible or convenient. For some people, therapy will be more effective in person.

Can therapy help if I’m unsure or nervous about starting?

Absolutely. Many people feel uncertain or anxious before starting therapy. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive space, where you can take things at your own pace and explore what’s happening in your life without fear of judgment.

I have a concern not listed on your website — what should I do?

If there’s an issue or question not covered here, you are very welcome to reach out. Every concern is valid, and we can discuss whether therapy is a good fit for your situation.
